ANIET is once again, the Portuguese entity which is coordinating the celebration of the European Minerals Day in Portugal.

This biennial event, has once again the participation of entities such as the Instituto Politécnico de Beja (IPBeja), which is organizing in their school a meeting whose theme is "Conversation about rocks: Pure Gold!”

In a varied panel of guests it will be covered topics related to jewelry and gemology, having as main highlight the gold, its exploration and use.

At the same time it will be discussed the impacts of the mining exploitation and the main aspects which contribute to its sustainability.

Besides the sharing of the scientific knowledge, there will be moments of poetry and music, always connected with the main theme.

At the end it will be served a drink with a geological name.
