Under the scope of the Internationalization Project 2020 | Pedra com Valor, ANIET promoted the participation of member companies at the 2015 Marmomacc International Fair, which took place from September 30th to October 3rd, in Verona, Italy.

Considered a reference fair, Marmomacc, in its 50th edition, is considered the world's biggest exhibit dedicated to the Natural Stone industry. In just four days, the event gathered 67.000 specialized professionals, a 3% growth in comparison to last year’s visitors.

The Marmomacc International Fair confirmed its status as the global center of the Natural Stone, equipment and technology, with the presence of 1.524 companies (which occupied an exhibition area of more than 77.000 m2), including 936 exhibitors from 55 countries (11 more exhibitors, comparing to last years' edition).

According to its traditions, as a place of promotion to the commerce of the Natural Stone Sector, Marmomacc established a new record due to the number of buyers who came from Europe (in particular from Germany and the United Kingdom, followed by Spain and France), with a significant increase of visitors from the USA, Canada, India and Australia, as well as Israel, Poland and Iran. It was also strengthened the number of visitors from Turkey, Russia, Brazil, China, Morocco and Egypt.

Marmomacc’s next edition is scheduled to take place on September 28th to October 1st, 2016, as ANIET already opened the registrations for this action within the scope of the Internationalization Project|2020 Pedra com Valor.

The Internationalization Project has more prospecting actions, inverse missions (importers' visit) and the participation at other fairs.

Among the markets covered by the new project, we highlight the continuity of the relationships with Morocco and the United Kingdom, and the bet on new markets, such as Germany, France, Poland and Switzerland.
