From October 13th to 18th, ANIET promotes a promotional action, co-financed by Compete 2020, which involves a total of 30 international prescribers, of 10 different nationalities, all of them of primary importance to the Sector, who will be in contact with the current reality of the National Stone.

This is an immersional action on the potential use of the Portuguese Natural Stone.

The Portuguese Natural Stone Sector is currently a case study, because an industry with deeply traditional roots, even secular, is nowadays endowed with cutting-edge technology in extraction and transformation. This reality makes Portugal a welcoming country for builders, engineers, and architects, whom usually visit the national companies, to study the best practices for applying a natural and timeless product in their works.

During the next days, the participants will visit several units throughout the country, learning about the current reality of the Sector and the technologies applied in the stone's work.

The action program will culminate with a gala dinner, to be held in Porto, next Friday, October 18th.
